PDCC has supported a number of Local Initiatives as listed below. Designated monthly offerings help support these initiatives and local mission organizations.
WELCOME HOUSE OF SOUTH COUNTY

This organization provides shelter to the homeless in Washington County serving individuals and families. A lunchtime soup kitchen is run every weekday and dinner is provided every night for the residents.
SOUTH COUNTY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

This organization builds homes for people in need of affordable housing. They also operate a store where they sell donated building materials, furniture and appliances. Peace Dale Congregational Church is now participating in the Faith Build, which is a program inviting churches and faith communities to work cooperatively to meet the crucial need of affordable housing. They are presently working on refurbishing a duplex in Westerly.

This organization provides a quality preschool and early child development program to the families of South Kingstown, Narragansett, Charlestown, and surrounding communities.

This organization provides emergency assistance of food, clothing, bedding and furniture to those in need. It also operates a thrift store which is open to the public and supports the services of the center.

This organization provides a variety of services including 2 weekly food programs, financial assistance for rent and utility bills, toiletry needs, layettes for expecting mothers, case management, advocacy and referrals to community agencies.

This organization serves the needs of low income and homeless peoples in the greater Providence area, through their Food Pantry, Homeless Outreach Program, Friday Night Community Meal , and SOAR, an outreach program that facilitates a fast track to SSI/SSDI benefits.

The DVRCSC is a nonprofit agency dedicated to both preventing and responding to domestic violence by working to change the social conditions, beliefs, and social actions that perpetuate abuse. They offer safety, support, advocacy, education and a network of services to local residents.
