Habitat for Humanity

South County Habitat for Humanity’s current affordable housing construction project is taking place on Mooresfield Road in Kingston.  With this opportunity, churches and faith communities of all sizes are welcome to volunteer cooperatively and help meet the crucial need of affordable housing.

The South County Habitat Faith Relations Committee is building this home on a foundation on Faith and is challenging the Faith community in raising $15,000 towards the cost of the foundation. Peace Dale Congregational will be the site for a fundraising breakfast on September 10, 2022. Get your tickets from Claudia Swain.

Since 1990, South County Habitat for Humanity, which identifies as an ecumenical Christian organization, has had volunteers from diverse, local faith communities including Peace Dale Congregational Church, join together in their mission of putting God’s love into action by building homes.
