Tabitha’s Closet offers in-season, gently-used clothing, shoes, accessories and jewelry for the whole family. Get what you need and pay what you can. As a volunteer-run outreach program of Peace Dale Congregational Church, we have flexible suggested donations. Most items are priced below $5.
We also run weekly specials, including seasonal “fill a bag” specials, to make shopping fun and affordable. Net proceeds are distributed back to the local community through our hot meal Dinner Table ministry and allocations to local non-profits in our area.

We are accepting gently-used spring/summer items currently. Thank you!
Donations may be delivered when the church office is open (Mon, Wed, Thurs 10am-2pm) or on Saturday mornings when we are open for shopping.
We ask that donations be laundered and delivered in a clean bag, as we don’t have a washer/dryer. We will say “no thank you” to items with bad odors, pet hair, or that are torn, stained, or worn out, and please no buggy items.
Items we happily accept: Shirts, pants, skirts, dresses, shorts, sweaters, sweatshirts, coats, hats, gloves for children and adults, as well as belts, scarves, purses, costume jewelry. We do accept shoes (for women, men, and children) in good/near new condition. We also accept donations of NEW underwear, new socks and new bathing suits. We will accept donations that are suitable for prom wear (formal dresses, men’s suits and ties).
Items we are NOT accepting: used Bathing suits, costumes, blankets and sheets, previously used socks and underwear.
TO VOLUNTEER
If you would like to help, we are always looking for additional volunteers to help sort and merchandise inventory during the week and to staff on Saturdays. Perhaps you would like to help develop partnerships or work on marketing. Volunteer by emailing tabitha@ peacedalechurch.org.
