Thanks to a generous donation to Jonnycake from the South County Garden Club, the Peace Dale Congregational Sunday School was able to connect with those folks at Champagne Heights that are interested in learning a little more about gardening.

Our PDCC  families filled planter w/ herbs and veggies, and gave a watering can, hand decorated by our younger kiddos, to each family. We also tackled the lovely garden that was established a few years ago, and put in more herbs and flowers.

We hope that through these pictures you can tell what a good time that was had by all.
We are especially encouraged by a group of youth who chose the name “ Green Team” to care for the garden with the help of our volunteers.
